The foundation of hair prep starts with clean, healthy hair and scalp. Clean hair and scalp provide each style with a fresh start, setting you up for maximum success when you style!🙌🏾 Shampoos that are sulfate-free are great in cleansing your hair without stripping your strands of their natural, precious oils. If your hair is particularly weighed down in product, a clarifying shampoo is great to use once or twice a month! The Melanin Haircare African Black Soap Reviving Shampoo is an excellent clarifying shampoo that is filled with nourishing and anti-inflammatory oils like tea tree, black cumin seed, rosemary, and peppermint to soothe and heal the scalp while cleansing.
To cleanse, start on wet hair and apply shampoo directly to your scalp and work into a lather. Once you massage the shampoo onto your scalp, draw the excess lather down the length of your hair to cleanse your strands and rinse away thoroughly.
