I've used this shampoo for many years and in the past year it became popular. 1-1/2 year ago I am now sporing sisterlocks this shampoo has been wonderful! It prevents itchy scalp and leaves my hair smelling beautiful and looking beautiful; making the salt n pepper look revishing. I need to purchase more please!

I was hesitant at first to give this a try. I tried black soap on my skin before and hated the scent. It was probably how it was made, because baybeee…my curls came out shiny and super defined once I started using this product. My scalp feels super clean, and the peppermint tingle helps too. I’ve been using this product line since it launched. I make the trip across the US-Canada border twice a year to grab my stash. 5 stars ??

I wanted to show support to Nap cause I been watching her for a long time now. I love all the good stuff in the shampoo but it doesn't lather good.i had to use twice to get a good lather. It doesn't dry out your hair but I didn't feel that clean hair.

I recently bought this shampoo from my local Ulta for my mother. For the past year, I have been buying shampoos, oils, scalp therapy products, etc. to help my mother with her itchy, inflamed scalp. She’s in her 80’s and refuses to go to a dermatologist or trichologist. I can’t tell you how many products she has stacked up in her bathroom.Feeling absolutely desperate, I decided to give this African black soap shampoo a try after my diy version offered her some relief... WELL, my mother is SO difficult to please, but she is WELL PLEASED with this shampoo. She said after using it, she felt so much relief and felt so soothed and peaceful. I checked in with her again today and she’s still feeling good. In fact, she now wants some Melanin Hair Care conditioner too! This shampoo is the best birthday present she’s ever received; can’t put a price tag on peace. Feeling SO GRATEFUL!!
