I've been using this shampoo for nearly five years now and I can say there is truly no other product that cleans and defines my hair like this does. No weird residue, I love the smell, and it's a clean product. With all the changes that have resulted in backorders i did branch it to other products and my hair was not the same. So happy to get my hands on a bottle again. I feel like Stella getting her groove back 😝. Keep up the great work!

Wash day turned into a Spa Day with the African Black Soap Reviving Shampoo! This shampoo felt so good and instantly put me in a relaxed mood!! I’m not a fan of tea tree because of its odor but I could tolerate it very well in this shampoo! The nozzle is so cool and functional, very genius! As noted this is a “clarifying” shampoo so I’ll be using it every other wash day while alternating another brand until Melanin Haircare adds an additional shampoo to their collection of products! I have learned a clarifying shampoo is needed to get the best silk press results so I’m excited to use this shampoo again for my first home silk press!!!!! #MelaninBae

Let me tell you… I use clarifying shampoos at least once a month, so I’m used to squeaky clean. However, this shampoo left my hair brittle & like a Brillo pad. So, it’s a no for me. Sign me up when Melanin creates a moisturizing shampoo for low porosity hair.

I have fine, wavy hair that gets oily very quickly and this is a great clarifying shampoo. Also, if you're looking for low or no fragrance, this is also great. It smells like tea tree oil but not too strongly.
