I love this product. My hair was actually darker after using. That’s how much it clarified my hair !!! It’s exactly the starting point I needed to start using natural products. Also the tingle on the scalp is so soothing. I felt like my scalp could breathe after using. Def use with the conditioner the way the conditioner soaks into the hair after using the shampoo is like no other experience.

I think it's an okay shampoo. The applicator makes it easy to reach all over your head and the product itself smells good and makes my hair clean. I was just a little put off by how it doesn't have much lather.

I have and use all the product from this line a really like them. However, this shampoo is too harsh on my hair. It takes all the nutrients out my hair (like shampoo made for non natural hair users). I used it twice, and my scalp is really dry after using it. I followed Whitney for years, so I’ve been following her recipe to make my own shampoo from black soap for years. So I don’t what was changed in this shampoo, but is horrible for my hair.

a lot of people are complaining that it strips your hair, but it says that it’s a clarifying shampoo so idk what you expect. i wouldn’t suggest using it everyday. i use it twice a week and it works fine.

I struggled with a lot buildup issues stemming from previous shampoos not cleansing enough, but after a few days of using this.... this stuff is amazing and has completely killed my buildup problems and has kept my curls defined!!
