All of melanins products are just amazing! This African black soap cleanses the hair without stripping the natural oils and beauty of it. I just love it and only use this shampoo.

Unfortunately, I am not a fan of the shampoo. This shampoo is geared more towards very porous and/or thick hair. My hair is neither. It dried my hair out so bad I was afraid it might break off. And the effect of the shampoo was INSTANT. I could feel how brittle my hair was becoming in the middle of my very first shampoo. I had high hopes for it but it did not hit the mark for me! Now.. the reason I gave 3 stars is because it works beautifully on my husband's hair - which is very porous. His hair comes out very soft and shiny and he loves it. I love it for him. I believe there should be a disclaimer that this product does best on porous hair.

This shampoo made my tangles melt, 4b/c curls pop, and cleaned without stripping. What more could I ask for? It would be great if I didn't have to spend so much for international shipping to the UK. That's the only reason that this isn't my go-to.
