I actually waited to make this purchase because I wasn't sure how well it would work on my hair or how natural the ingredients were. Well, I did my homework, the ingredients checked out on ewg.org and so I gave it a try. Made my first purchase, tried it and YES!!! a big thumbs up for this shampoo. I immediately purchased 3 more bottles. This is a go to shampoo for ladies who are heavy handed with their products (yes I am that lady). When you absolutely must have a shampoo that will lift all of your heavily applied hair products, accept no substitutions. This is the one!Thank you Whitney!!

This is an Excellent clarifying shampoo. It will clean your hair which is what I expect my shampoo to do. It is Definitely a staple. A little goes a long way so it will last a while. Make sure hair is really wet and less is needed. Be ready to deep condition immediately after because hair is stripped and can feel rough and tangled. My hair feels coated after use but that happens with African black soap. Rinses out quickly and I like that. Would love to see the pH of this shampoo and other melanin products displayed on the bottle.

Leaves my scalp clean and doesn't leave my hair dry. Love it.

It has a great smell and I love how the ingredients are so clean. But it was not a good fit for my hair. I got too much buildup and the shampoo couldn't clean it away.
