I’ve never used African soap I didn’t know what to expect shampooing my hair. My experience using this product was unbelievable. I couldn’t believe how therapeutic it was using ALL natural ingredients on my hair the earthy smell, lather, was awesome periodT!My hair was absolutely cleansed jus with one wash amazing. I used the entire collection and the softness, curls so fluffy and shiny. I’ve stocked up on the entire collection and truly enjoy looking forward to wash day every month. I’m not a product junkie I know what’s good for my hair and I don’t mess with er’thng that comes on the market but following Whitney since her daughter was born, her diy’s etc., I took the leap of faith using Melanin and absolutely love, love, love the whole collection.

I’m not just saying this - I love this shampoo. It completely cleansed without stripping my hair. Whatever concoction Whitney created to develop this shampoo, she did an excellent job. My hair and scalp thank her. And with my scalp cleared of layered products, it thrives and my hair grows faster now. XO

I like Melanin shampoo a lot, but the formula burned my eyes. Not sure which ingredient is causing this to happen. I like the design of the bottle. The applicator tip is great for scalp cleanliness. The color of the product is lovely, since it looks like our “beautiful brown skin.” You get a lot of product for your money. Love, love, love the healthy ingredients. I love that I get a “squeaky clean” scalp & strand. It is a great clarifying shampoo. I just need a moisturizing shampoo in the Melanin line & a clarifying shampoo that doesn’t burn my eyes. Cleans and smells great. Love it!

I use this one on my hair. But I use black soap--from Nigeria--on my face and body! Very good cleanser!! I know my hair will be clean
