Charcoal Powder

Charcoal powder is created when a carbon-rich material, such as coconut shells, wood pulp, or decomposed vegetable peat, is burned at high temperatures creating a black odorless powder. Used in ancient medicine in many different cultures, it contains the ability to attract substances and contain them within its surface, as well as absorb toxins that are thousands of times its own weight. It is used to detoxify and exfoliate the skin and scalp, reduce inflammation, treat skin infections, insect bites, disinfect wounds and bacteria, filter impurities in water, eliminate odors, and treat poisonings.
