I purchased the oil, leave in, and cream and I must say they are very good products. The first thing I love is the size of the containers which are huge. Compared to other natural hair care companies, Melanin definetly delivers on the amount of product you get for a good price. The leave in is a great detangler, especially for transitioning hair with two different textures. I really like how the oil is not greasy at all. I can use it everyday for scalp massages and my hair doesnt get oily. Overall, the products left my hair soft and manageable and the more I use them the better I like them.

I have tried many shampoos including making my own black soap shampoo, but this is hands down The Best!! It very moisturizing & creamy. I’ve tried others that’s a little too watery & you will tend to use too much. On this one, a little goes a long way!!

This oil is so wonderful, I’ve been using it with my twists and now on my scalp while wearing box braids and it’s so moisturizing and rich.

This is a light weight oil that does not weigh down my hair. I have two daughters with long thick hair and it works well for all of us. If it's ever back in stock I will repurchase it again.

i loved the light weight oil. it works great with my LCO method. the biggest issue for me was that it did nothing for my scalp. i have 4c low porosity hair and having an oil for my scalp has been a need since before i can remember. this oil is great for prepoos as well, but, like i said before, it wasn’t helping my scalp. i even tried to wet my scalp before applying the oil—it dried up after 45 minutes.i’m still using the oil for my hair strands, i just have to purchase another oil that i know moisturizes my scalp. to each his own though. what might not have worked for me, may work for someone else
