I’ve tried so many leave-ins and twisting creams, but Melanin Haircare’s Multi-use Softening Leave-in conditioner and Twist Elongating Cream simply tops them all!! Always wondered why it always sold out but now I know why! Another reason why it’s great is due to the impeccable sizing! Worth the wait and buy!!! 10/10.

The first conditioner I used after having dreadlocks for 7 years. Before I used this, my hair was so dry and not to mention all the shedded hair I combed out while taking my locs down. I was able to run my fingers/brush through my hair after using this and my curls were so nice to look at! Thank you for making an amazing product, it takes me 10 minutes to detangle my now, thick, coarse, neck length hair. ??

I love love love it. It works better for my hair than other leave-in conditioners that I have tried and keeps it moisturized. I mostly wear my hair in twists and what I do is spritz them with some water and apply some of this conditioner before I leave the house. My hair looks extremely hydrated everyday. I use it on both of my kid's hair as well as my own and I feel like it works miracles. The only thing I might possibly want to change is the smell. It has a really strong peppermint smell, my kids say it smells like peppermint toothpaste, that can be a little daunting. It's not so bad that I will stop using it though. I highly recommend this product and when it comes back in stock I will be buying some more.

I am a minimalist and like that the Melanin conditioner accomplishes various goals.I love the lightness of product for 3 reasons: 1) doesn't leave filmy residue on my fine hair strands; 2) doesn’t weight down my strands, which allows it to remain fluffy, though well-coated; 3) the conditioner’s lightness and chemical composition doesn’t blind me when working up a generous sweat at hot yoga 4-6x/week. Another plus of the Melanin conditioner is the quantity and the bottle’s application pump. I feel at ease using liberal amounts on my large head. The pump doesn’t squirt out a lot of product at a time and this is great because it helped me learn I didn’t need to use as much. The fourth reason I love the Melanin conditioner is its detangling/ low-key pre-poo function. When I unravel my protective styles during the workweek, I use my spray water bottle (it only has Melanin conditioner in it) and conditioner to coax my fragile ends apart. By the time it's time for my formal washday, the product seems to reactivate beneath the water, making my curls pop long before the deliberate detangling process. The fifth and final reason I LOVE the Melanin conditioner is loyalty. We’ve all benefited from pioneering-research efforts of Naptural85. As an OG investigator of Black hair care, Natural85’s Youtube page created learning modules that were easy to follow. When it came to invest hair products, the decision was simple because, for years, I’d used their self-taught haircare research on my own head. Now, the quality and quantity of the product makes it a no-brainer to recommend this product to colleagues, friends, and mentees, who either have loose natural hair or locs. Just be sure to buy two at a time, if you can, so you can gift the other to newbies ????

This is the product I have been searching for… No seriously. I have purchased numerous conditioners and detanglers and have found none that work as well as Melanin. It used to take me over an hour to de-tangle my hair after washing. Now my comb goes right through. Also works great with my extensions.
