Application of the product is second to none. Goes on very smooth and appears to really soak into my strands (my hair is 4b/4c type). The definition I get once the product is rinsed out is amazing. Best definition in all of my 10 years of wash days. The only reason I am giving this product a 4 vs a 5 is because I did experience some shedding. Not sure if it is the product or just my own hair shedding. Some viewers considered the smell to be earthy, but I didn't get that at all, there was more of a chemical smell for me which I didn't really mind since other deep conditioners I have used also have this smell.
