I received my pre-ordered product and have used it twice now, and WOW! Great job to Whitney and the entire Melanin Hair Care team! Not only is the texture of the conditioner amazing, it's not overly or synthetically fragrant (like many other brands), and you get a lot of product for the price per ounce. Let me also just say, as a fellow entrepreneur, running a small business is not an easy task and launching products can be very challenging. There's a lot that goes on behind the scenes, especially after global supply chains get bogged down. I want to just publicly praise the team at Melanin Hair Care for their endurance, dealing with delays (which can feel very defeating), dealing with frustrated customers, dealing with moving inventory (both internally and externally) and dealing with retail accounts - and even losing money due to no fault of their own. It's exhausting and through it all, I feel like everyone from Whitney all the way to the customer service team, showed grace, patience, humility and perseverance. AND they gave everyone who waited for their order, gifts (for free - but they shouldered the burden of the cost of those gifts). And that head wrap is super cute. Class act. To you, I say and acknowledge your efforts and applaud you for making it through to the other side. The compound effect of such events can crush small, young businesses. For those who will continue to support this business (like me), it will be a testament to everyone working behind the scenes to deliver a great product, great customer service and natural healthy hair care. Kudos to all of you. Although I have grown tired of keeping up with my kinky curls (because I've been at it since the early 90's before it was trendy) and am doing more blowouts these days, I am grateful for these low-impact and natural ingredients and I find I can still use these products to keep my hair clean, healthy and shiny whether it's curly or straight! I am ready to place my next order because I really need some more multi-use hair oil and am ready to try the black soap shampoo! Thank you!

I've been using the deep conditioner weekly for a month now and the difference it has made in my hair is *wild*. More softness, more definition, and more VOLUME! My twistouts have been flat and lifeless for quite some time, to the point where I was ready to give up and shave my head. I can definitely see the moisture and strength in my hair. I usually do protein treatments and I can see the fullness from the plumping ingredients in this deep conditioner. Good product.

My hair is incredibly soft and moisturized and continues to remain soft a week later. The Plumping Deep Conditioner was on my hair for 30 minutes and I also used my hair steamer during the process. I am currently wearing a twist out and used all of the melanin hair care products on my wash day. Keep up the great work!
