Bought this set to try each product before I get the full size SHAMPOO: Love the smell and the tingle. Worked just as good as other black soap shampoos I've used. LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER: 1. It really does soften my hair (as long as my hair remains wet). As soon as my hair begins to dry I lose the softness that it gives...so I can only use it on wet hair. 2. The straw does not go all the way to the bottom of the bottle so I had to cut the bottle to get the last half ounce of the product out OIL: I love the oil blend for my skin (not my hair). It is way too light for my hair and isn't as moisturising as when I use other hair oils or butters. STYLE CREAM: underwhelming when used as a moisturizer. Works better as a styling product on top of my regular moisturizer GENERAL: Very practical for travelling. Except for the shampoo, these products are too light for my hair. I have to use a lot more product and repeat more often to get similar results as other products I've used.

I've used all of these products consistently to two washings and my hair really looks and feels great! The shampoo makes my hair squeaky clean and the conditioner feels nourishing as well. The twisting cream and oil defines my curls like nothing I've ever used before with lasting effects past a week. I'll definitely incorporate this into my routine and work to replace some of my old products. I have really long thick hair and can probably get four washes out of this shampoo, using it twice in each section but have to replace the conditioner after the second wash. I'm certain the twisting cream and oil will last me for months. I will definitely be replacing or supplementing some of my previous products with Melanin. The scent is fresh and lemon like and did not give me any issues with allergies. You can't go wrong buying this set because you can try everything at once. Good - The products came in a timely manner and I received all the items ordered. I haven't used them yet, but will write a review once I have.

Love this kit so much - I travel all the time and am so glad to finally have smaller sizes without having to fill up another container. The pouch that comes with it I use for my bathing suits too :)
