I purchased the leave-in, styling cream, and oil.This past weekend, I washed (2x) and deep conditioned my hair.I used up what was left of a leave-in from another brand. It was just enough for my entire head. Therefore, I did not get an opportunity to use the leave-in.After leave-in (from another brand) was put in my hair, I followed with the styling cream.While doing my hair, I usually sit and watch a movie and rarely use a mirror. Also, I tend to be heavy handed with all my products cause that is how I roll.After I had put the last twist out in my hair, I went to my bathroom and found my hair looked dull/grayish and had white residue. I knew immediately that I was going to have flakes. Whyyyyyyyyy?!?!?I am not sure if it failed to mix well with the other leave-in OR because I used to much styling cream OR because I skipped using the oil (the cream has shea butter in it, so I did not feel the oil was needed). I did a product mixture in my hands of the leave in (from another brand) and the styling cream and it did not act like that. I do not know what happened. It was too late in the day to start over or do something different to my hair. So for work this week, I am rocking dull, grayish twists that I put into two french braids that will suffice. Later in the week, I may try to use the melanin oil (or some other oil) to see if that helps with the residue/flakiness going on right now.Oh well, until the next wash day then. This time I plan to try all of the products together (no product mixing) and use a mirror to see how the products are responding in my hair.

It detangles my 4a hair and moisturizes my hair. My hair stays moisturized for 4 days until I have to put a little on my hands to re-moisturize again. I bought 2 more. Thank you Whitney
